Ahh, the sounds of birds chirping, water riddling its way down all the paths to the sea... The green is growing, leaves are all soft and fluffy and that gorgeous dewy green. The water might not feel like a hot tub, but our Babes in the River shoots are BAAACK!
They're one of our all time faves. Springing from our sister Liberty Photography's 'Liberty in the River' (click here to see!), we fell in love with the river so much we just had to bring the babies! Our Babes in the River shoot is all natural, greenery and wooden bridges and, of course, our forever-gorgeous river. We have just loved being back, and so I thought you all might like to see what a shoot like this looks like from behind the scenes...
First, we began with some natural loved up shots of mum and baby on this beautiful wooden bridge. The shabby chic within us gets so excited, looking at all the woody boho goodness. Side note: how beautiful is this ladies dress?! We offer styling guides for every shoot now, and she nailed it.
We get a little closer, for some more intimate shots of the two of you. If you're breastfeeding, remember we are always happy to get some beautiful shots of you feeding!
Once we've finished up on the bridge, you are offered outfit changes for both mum and baby and then we get you into the river! The river shots are softly directed by our amazing photographer Christy, as she only wants to capture the most raw and natural of bonds between mum and baby. Look at their tiny hands!
We will shoot some further-away shots too, to make sure we get all of the beautiful British countryside for your gallery... I mean, if you're going to stand in a *somewhat* chilly river, you need the proof photos right?
River is relaxed, healing and peaceful; take a moment, close your eyes, lose yourself in the small touches, the tiny feet... Feel the wind in your hair and the river moving by you. It is truly a wonderful experience for us all.
